Letak Beban Anda Sekejap

Seorang pensyarah mengangkat segelas air dan bertanya kepada pelajarnya “Anda semua teka berapa berat segelas air ini?” Mahasiswa menjawab, mereka meneka dari 5 liter sampai 200 liter. ” Sebenarnya, jawapan anda ada yang betul tapi apa yang hendak saya sampaikan hari ni ialah bukan masalah berat kandungannya, tapi bergantung berapa lama anda memegangnya. Jika saya memegangnya selama 1 minit, tidak ada masalah. Jika saya memegangnya selama 1 jam, lengan kanan saya akan sakit. Dan jika saya memegangnya selama 1 hari penuh, mungkin anda harus memanggilkan ambulans untuk saya. Beratnya sebenarnya sama, tapi semakin lama saya memegangnya, maka bebannya akan semakin berat”. “Jika kita membawa beban kita secara berterusan, lambat laun kita tidak akan mampu membawanya lagi. Beban itu akan meningkat beratnya”. “Apa yang harus kita lakukan adalah meletakkan gelas tersebut, rehat sekejap sebelum mengangkatnya lagi”. Kita harus meninggalkan beban kita secara berkala, agar kita dapat lebih segar dan mampu membawanya lagi. Jadi sebelum pulang ke rumah dari pekerjaan petang ini, tinggalkan beban pekerjaan. Jangan bawa pulang. Beban itu dapat diambil lagi besok. Apapun beban yang ada di bahu anda hari ini, cuba tinggalkannya sekejap jika boleh. Setelah berehat nanti boleh diambil lagi…… Hidup ini singkat, jadi cubalah menikmatinya!! Perkara terindah dan terbaik di dunia ini tidak dapat dilihat, atau disentuh, tapi hanya dapat dirasakan jauh di dalam hati anda.

I Am Number Four

Rsnya dh 2 mggu lbh tgk movie ni. Baru ada ms nk tulis blog so baru nk buat review. Xpe la. At least me"review" jgk kn. Hehehe. Biasala. Org busy la katakan (busy la sgt). Sbnrnya hari tu x plan pun nk tgk movie, lgpun hp tgh rosak time tu. Tp berjaya jgk diaorg meyakinkan diri ini utk pg tgk.

Ok la. Tanpa membuang masa. Lets review this movie. Movie ni adaptasi dr sebuah novel dgn tajuk yg sama karya Pittacus Lore. Novel ni telah menjadi novel kanak2 best seller selama 6 mggu dlm The New York Times Best Seller list. To be frank, aku sbnrnya x minat nk baca novel x kira la bahasa atau genre apa sekalipun (even Harry Potter yg org semua tgila-gilakan tu aku x baca 1 buku pun). Tp kalau bab movie mmg aku suka, x pernah miss 1 pun movie Harry Potter (x sabar tggu julai ni. penghabisan). Eh!!!! Apa aku mlalut psl Harry Potter plak ni.

Ok, back to asal. Movie ni mgisahkan ttg kisah anak2 alien yg planet diaorg dah dimusnahkan. So diaorg pun lari ke Bumi. Diaorg ni ada 9 semua nya & msg2 ada power masing2. Plus diaorg ni ada guardian msg2. Ada la musuh diaorg ni alien lain. Diaorg ni tgs diaorg bnh alien ni (x tau sbb apa). 3 org dh dibunuh so skrg turn yg no. 4 plak (diaorg mesti dibunuh ikut turn. hahaha. blh plak mcm tu kn). So, nk tau kisah selanjutnya, kena la tgk sendiri.

So, apa pendapat personal aku psl movie ni. Hmmm. Ok la. Best la jgk. Typical action movie. Lawan2, tembak2, tumbuk2. Ada cinta2 ckit. Sgt typical. Ada rebellion remaja thpd org dewasa. Apa lg ek???? Overall movie ni sgt typical movie remaja. Dh terbiasa & xda elemen baru.

Pengajaran movie ni???? X byk sgt la. Hmmmm. Bg aku fikir jap.... Ok pengajaran yg pertama, hmmmm. Ntah. Xde la.... It's a movie you watch to have fun. Overall aku bg movie ni 3 bintang.....

37thTemasya Olahraga Tahunan (TOT) USM

It has been a while since my last post. Been very busy lately. With what? TOT is one of them. Hihihihi. It's one of the most anticipated event in USM (I think so). And for the first time in my 3 years studying here, I'm part of the organizing committee (1st year I'm a no comer [busy with my citrawarna at that time], 2nd year I'm the spectator).

Overall. The event was a great success. Although there are some troubles at the opening ceremony, some backstabing, kutuk2 belakang and etc, still no big problem happen. Just one mini fight (I'm not sure it is small enough to be called mini but it isn't big enough to be called a big fight) happen between a foreign student and the referee. But it's solved (I think).

Malaysian: Hello, who call?

ASKING SOMEONE TO MAKE WAY

British: Excuse me, I would like to get by. Would you please make way?

Malaysian:: S-kew me.

WHEN SOMEONE OFFERS TO PAY 

British: Hey! Put your wallet away, this drink is on me.

Malaysian:: No need lah.

WHEN ASKING FOR PERMISSION

British: Excuse me, but do you think it would be possible for me to enter through this door?

Malaysian: (pointing at the door) Can ah?

WHEN ENTERTAINING

British: Please make yourself right at home.

Malaysian: No need shy shy one lah!

WHEN DOUBTING SOMEONE 

British: I don't recall you giving me the money.

Malaysian: Where got?

WHEN DECLINING AN OFFER

British: I would prefer not to do that, if you don't mind.

Malaysian: Don't want lah.

IN DISAGREEING ON A TOPIC OF DISCUSSION

British: Err...Tom, I have to stop you there. I understand where you're coming from, but I really have to disagree with what you said about the issue.

Malaysian: You mad ah?

WHEN ASKING SOMEONE TO LOWER THEIR VOICE.

British: Excuse me, but could you please lower your voice? I'm trying to concentrate over here.

Malaysian: Shut up lah!

WHEN ASKING SOMEONE IF HE/SHE KNOWS YOU..

British: Excuse me, but I noticed you staring at me for sometime. Do I know you?

Malaysian: See what, see what?

WHEN ASSESSING A TIGHT SITUATION. 

British: We seem to be in a bit of a predicament at the moment..

Malaysian: Die lah!!

WHEN TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT HAD HAPPENED

British: Will someone tell me what has just happened?

Malaysian: What happened ah? Why like that one lah?

WHEN SOMEONE DID SOMETHING WRONG

British: This isn't the way to do it. Here, let me show you.

Malaysian: Like that also don't know how to do!

British: Would you mind not disturbing me?

Burlesque

"It takes a legend to make a star". Truly I like this tag line. It takes someone to build someone. Oh BTW burlesque is pronounced as /bɜːˈlesk/ and it means a theatrical entertainment in the USA in the late 19th and early 20th centuries that had amusing acts and a striptease (= a performance in which someone removes their clothes). Just by hearing the meaning of the movie title make me arouse. Hahahaha. Ok. It's true that this movie have some striptease scene both by Christina Aguilera and Cam Gigandet. But that's not what this movie is about. It's about the people inside of it.

When I saw it's poster a few month back, I was trilled. I'm a big fan of both Christina Aguilera and musical movie. And truly, my wait worth it. The movie was great, the song were awesome and who can deny the vocals of Christina. Fuh..... Mind blowing vocal.

But, this movie is not for the conservative mind. Why, see the title meaning and you know why. The clothing are much too sexy for the conservative mind (not for me of course). Then there were a striptease scene by both Christina and Cam that I think is kinda funny (I don't know about the conservative mind. maybe they find it disgusting and shameful). This movie making me feel hot inside a very cold cinema hall. Hahahaha....

There's some moral values inside the movie. Firstly, you must persistent and fight for your dreams. Whatever your dream is, you must fight for it even when people get in your way. Next, money isn't everything. It is true that money is important but it is everything. There some things that money can't buy. Be careful on anyone you've just met. They might take advantage of you. Hmmm. You must watch it

Overall this is a great movie to watch and please mind their clothing. Hahahaha. I give this movie 4 star. Till then.....

P/S: I'm a bit disappointed because I was hoping to see more of Diana Agron in this movie and maybe her singing too. But it's ok. Having Christina singing a lot of songs covers it....

5 wrong reasons to vote for a candidate

(1) family ties
voting for your family members might seem the way for you to support them and you know them well enough, but please consider the option that there might me other person that suit the job


(2) friendship
even if the candidate is your friend, please do not vote for him/her because of that. He/She might be your friend but he/she may not suit the job


(3) race
a very wrong reason to vote. you cannot be racism. race does not determine a good leader


(4) statehood
this is another very wrong reason to vote. come one. we're malaysians and it doesn't even matter where you come from


(5) gender
just because you're a guy/girl doesn't mean you should vote for the same gender as yours. bear in mind that gender doesn't determine leadership

The Mechanic

Setelah sekian lama x mnonton movie di pawagam, I'm back. With 2 movies. Yup. Ni kes lps gian la ni. Hahahaha. Ok 1st movie yg aku tgk The Mechanic. Aku tgk movie ni dgn 2 org besties aku kt USM ni (Wawa & Zaza) semalam. 2nd movie plak Burlesque hari ni. Ni aku g tgk sorg2. Post ni, aku nak citer psl The Mechanic je. Nnti 2nd post aku citer plak psl Burlesque.

Kitaorg x plan nk tgk movie ni. Dtg QB pilih2 & tgk. Kisah dia mgenai pembunuh upahan yg sgt efficient yg mampu membuat satu pembunuhan seolah-olah seperti satu kemalangan. Movie ni sgt typical action movie. Watak utama dia perahsia, pendiam & agak anti sosial (ddk pun sorg2 dlm hutan). Nothing new. Movie ni x emphasize watak wanita. All the main cast are male (a bit disappointed bcoz I love when girls kick ass. opsss. mind my word ussage). 

Nevertheless, it's a fun movie to watch. Filled with action, brutality and blood (luckily I know it's not real blood or I'll faint straightaway). Nothing much I can pick out of it in terms of the moral values. Just that there're some ethic issue such as how far would you go to achieve what you want? In this movie, there's no limit on how far can you go but on my behalf I think there's should be a limit. If there's no limit, the world will be in chaos (just like in the movie). And then, will you go and backstab someone you know (even your friend)  when you are forced to do it? Hmmmmm. I hope I won't have to do that.

There nothing much I can say about this movie. It's simply a movie to watch and enjoy without thinking much about the story line and what we can pick up from it. I give this movie a rating of 3 stars. Till next time....
